The Great Ocean Road Self-drive
Day 1: Melbourne - Lorne (179 miles) Drive from Melbourne via Geelong to the picturesque town of Lorne.
Day 2: Lorne - Port Fairy (148 miles) Depart Lorne and drive along the Great Ocean Road to see the Twelve Apostles, ‘Shipwreck Coast’, Port Campbell and on to Port Fairy.
Day 3: Port Fairy - Robe (189 miles) From Port Fairy drive via Portland along the coast to Mount Gambier and the on to Robe via Millicent.
Day 4: Robe - Barossa Valley (222 miles) Travelling along the Coorong National Park travel to the towns of Tailem Bend and Murray Bridge and into the wine producing areas of the Barossa Valley.
Day 5: Barossa Valley (42 miles) There is plenty of time to explore the wineries of the Barossa Valley in the morning and then in the afternoon travel through Gawler to Adelaide.
